Gransfors Bruks is the brand they will be manufacturing for in the future. After I got my Gransfors Hunters axe, I held the axes in each arm, and the weight distribution on the Wetterlings was clearly different (the Hunters is supposed to have similar weight as the GB small forest). the Wetterlings felt heavier, even though its listed weight on most websites is very close to the GB small forest axe, i.e. head weight 1.5 lbs, handle weight 0.5 - 0.6 lbs, total weight I have the Wetterling Hunters Axe and have not been happy with it's performance since day one. Has anyone re profiled theres to get it to chop and split well . It has the blunt edge for splitting but want to chop as well . Maybe it's the wood I try to chop and split ie dried willow it takes Wetterlings Hudson's Bay Axe #180.
